Our Story
Back in 2011, Bryan and Sian met through mutual friends. From the moment he saw her, Bryan was smitten and asked her out. But Sian playfully declined. Undeterred, he tried again, only to face another sweet rejection. They continued to enjoy each other's company as friends, sharing laughs and adventures.
On his third attempt, Bryan's persistence finally paid off – Sian said yes! Their friendship blossomed into love, and they soon moved in together with their housemates and some cats. They continued to build their lives together, from epic game nights to countless adventures.
Even when Sian decided to travel solo for nine months, Bryan wholeheartedly supported her (and perhaps enjoyed the temporary peace and quiet). After nine wonderful years together, amidst the chaos of house renovations, Bryan proposed in their garden. Covered in paint and dust, they agreed to continue the adventure together.
Now, after overcoming the challenges and delays of COVID, a venue closure, and a bit of procrastination, Bryan and Sian are thrilled to finally celebrate their love and commitment with you. They can't wait to share this special day and start the next chapter of their adventure together!
Getting There
We're excited to have you join us at Callala Beach! If you're coming from Sydney, whether you're local or flying into Sydney Airport, here are some travel tips to make your journey smooth:
By Car: Driving to Callala Beach is a scenic 2.5-hour journey from Sydney. Head south on the M1 and follow signs towards Nowra. From there, it's a straightforward drive to Callala Beach.
By Train: For a relaxing trip, take a train from Sydney to Bomaderry (Nowra) Station. Enjoy the picturesque journey, which takes about 3 hours. Once you arrive at Bomaderry, Callala Beach is just a 25-minute drive away. You can easily rent a car in Nowra or catch a taxi or rideshare service to complete your journey.
